Aurora Over Zion, November 10-11, 2025

On the night of November 10, 2025, a large coronal mass ejection reached the Earth, causing a spectacular geomagnetic storm. The Aurora appeared as far as south as the southern United States. A red glow filled the sky for much of the evening.  However, on a few occasions during intense substorms, curtains, or rays of light danced across the sky, reaching up to the stars. I stayed out capturing the event for much of the night.
